Morphological characterization of non-descript Buffalo in Konkan Region of Maharashtra State

The present investigation entitled “Morphological Characterization of Non-Descript Buffalo in Konkan Region Maharashtra State.” was undertaken with the objectives to study morphological characteristics, milk production performance, reproductive disease incidence, mortality and morbidity, management practices feeds feeding non-descript buffaloes region. For survey, four districts viz., Thane, Palghar, Ratnagiri Sindhudurg region were selected. total sample size 500 buffalo owners 850 considered for survey. data collected by personal interview taking measurements buffaloes. animals medium having coat colours observed black brown proportion 58.94 41.06 per cent 49.18, 46.94 3.88 had black, white muzzle colour, respectively. Eye colour 76.47, 22.24 1.29 eyelid 87.68 12.32 cent.
